Why Join Us?

Capital City College Group is the largest community of colleges in London, and one of the largest in the UK, with three fantastic colleges, an employer-focussed training arm, social enterprise for entrepreneurs, and a vibrant corporate services department. We have around 1800 staff members working together, united by a combined sense of purpose and shared idea that lifelong learning, opportunities and specialist training can help us, our colleges and our students to be successful – together.

In addition to competitive salaries and annual leave, we offer a range of staff benefits, including:

Professional Development

We are committed to providing continual professional development, with both formal and informal opportunities – every employee has a personal development plan, access to our exceptional learning hub, and mentoring and coaching opportunities. We also offer interest-free loans and study leave to make it easier for you achieve professional qualifications.

Employee Wellbeing and Assistance – LifeWorks

All staff members receive access to the LifeWorks employee well-being app, used by organisations such as Dr. Martens, Canada Life, The Savoy and Nestlé. The app allows you to access exclusive discount vouchers, cashback and other offers for retailers across the UK, as well as providing daily well-being tips, articles, CareNow programmes (covering topics such as stress, communication, anxiety and mindfulness) and a 24/7 confidential assistance programme, which can be accessed via live chat or telephone.

Cycle to Work – Cyclescheme

We are part of Cyclescheme, the UK’s most popular cycle-to-work benefit, which enables staff to save 25-39% of the cost of a new bike and accessories, whilst also spreading the cost.

Season Ticket Loans

We offer interest-free season ticket loans to staff, enabling them to benefit from the savings of holding an annual Travelcard, for travel on the Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail and National Rail services.

Healthcare

All staff members are eligible for a free annual eye health checkup, and a contribution towards spectacles. We also offer staff members an optional annual flu vaccination, and provide access to occupational health.

Pension Scheme

We are part of the defined benefit Local Government Pension Scheme, which means the pension you get is based on how long you have been a member of the scheme and how much you earn.
