Hourly Paid Lecturer (ESOL)

I was attracted to joining Capital City College Group because of its reputation of high-quality teaching and multiculturalism.

I enjoy interacting with many different learners from many different countries, cultures, religion and different personal qualities. I help them in their journey of living and working in the United Kingdom.

On a typical day, I check in with students I haven’t seen in the past class to find out if everything is okay and if they need help. I start teaching at 10am and usually finish at 2.30pm, then I attend meetings to discuss our classes and courses.

The college is a happy place. You immediately feel part of the team and everyone welcomes you like a friend. You never feel isolated or cut off from your team and if you are unsure on a task, they are always happy to share their experience with you. Managers are friendly, approachable, and always there when you need them.

I would advise anyone thinking of applying for a role here to go ahead. You’ll love being here.
