I joined Capital City College Group in early 2022 as a recent graduate. Prior to joining the group, I only knew of City and Islington College as some of my friends attended the college for A Levels. 

I joined as a Marketing Officer for the Brand and Digital Team, looking after helpdesk requests and supporting other team members where needed, but have recently switched to a Social Media Blogger role which allows me to travel the many sites of the group and meet lots of staff and students.

Immediately I was working with a supportive and driven team who knew what they needed to do and this helped me learn more about the importance of my role and also marketing in general. Our team’s responsibilities are managing the website content and making sure that the courses the colleges provide are promoted and we use many different channels to do that, one being social media which is what I am responsible for.

I feel good knowing that my work in education will make a positive impact on the world and that many of our students will, and have gone on to do great things in many different industries. I definitely recommend the group for anyone thinking of applying as it is a large organisation with lots of friendly and supportive staff who are here to support and guide you.
