CANDI

City and Islington College is one of the largest further education colleges in London, with specialist centres across North London, located in Angel, Holloway Road, Finsbury Park, and Enfield, offering an extensive range of academic and vocational courses for all ages. Since 1993, we have provided exceptional education to over 250,000 people, helping them to achieve their ambitions.

Our diverse student body of around 14,000 learners come mainly from London, but many travel further afield across the South East and abroad in order to study on our acclaimed vocational and academic courses that are heralded by employers. We offer A Levels, vocational courses (diplomas, certificates and awards, including BTECs, University of the Arts London, City & Guilds and more), and higher education courses (HNC, HND, Foundation Degree and Bachelor’s Degree).

Working at CANDI, you will become part of your specialist centre, the college itself, and the wider community of Capital City College Group, with centre, college and group-wide events that give you the opportunity to network and share best practice with colleagues. Your work will be directly impacting the lives of people across North London, from school leavers looking to achieve A Levels before progressing to university, to adults looking to retrain for a new career, or develop their existing skills – you will help Londoners change their lives through education. We commit to helping our staff develop their careers, with continual professional development and training to help them grow. You will join a team of like-minded people, united by a combined sense of purpose and shared idea that lifelong learning, opportunities and specialist training can help us, our colleges and our students to be successful – together.
